Anyone who has had experience with the GH2 and the G5 can confirm if as it seems, the G5 is so superior in photo still? without Olympus lovers be offended, but I see the G5 to a level close to the E-M5 and the GH3.

Seems to give better colors, better dynamic range and ISO in photo still.

I'm wondering if purchasing a G5 or GX1 when these are replaced and their price drop as a camera only for photo still, leaving the GH2 only for video.

    Thanks!

    g5 has gh2 sensor
i bought gh2 strictly for video. I seen some people on here taking nice pictures with gh2. i almost bought G5, then i bought an gx1 on impulse. From what i heard g5 has great video quality too just no manual control and takes nice pics. I got the urge to buy a g5 too lol

The G5 is a great camera and at very good price. Its still shots are great and up to ISO of 3200 i do not see much noise. In term of ergonomics it lacks the controls of the GH2.
