Hey all, if you've got a GH2 and some real-world images you'd like to share, drop 'em here. Let's build a library of images that showcase the cameras capabilities! Ready, set, go!

Hi John,

I haven't been using mine for normal street photography, but I have used it for some real long range telephoto street stuff and for a lot of just walk around kind of stuff and low light shooting, even an event at my wife's school. Here's a quick cross section. I've only had it a few weeks.

I lied - this one is a kind of standard length street shot...

Thx for sharing, Ray. I like the lighting and framing and timing of this one in particular. And yes, Jalex, hopefully this thread will fill as more GH2s end up in peoples' hands...

I just received mine last week. They are tough to find. I've taken a couple of shots on a 2 Gig card I had. But, I'm waiting for my memory cards to get here before I take too many shots. Hopefully, I can contribute to this list in a day or two. At least one of my cards should be here tomorrow.

I've been busy at work and haven't had a chance to really take my GH2 out for a spin, except for the short weekend away my family had in Boracay, Philippines the other week. I posted these in a separate thread before but since this is a thread dedicated to GH2 images, I'll post a few here as well.

All of these were taken with the 14-42mm kit lens, on iA mode (i.e., idiot-proof) and straight out of the camera (no post processing at all):

All comments (especially negative) are welcome. I'm still evaluating this camera. So, I'm interested in feedback on the quality.

Shot with the GH2 and the 45-200 handheld at 1/15 of a second. He was engrossed in a computer game and the light from the monitor provided excellent fill.

Alright, here is 50% of the reason I got the 20mm.

We have adoptions every weekend inside Petsmart. Prior to the GH2 / 20mm combo I was using an FZ18. Even wide open at 2.8 I still needed to use the flash in the store. Half the time, especially the cats, the flash would make them blink, so I would have to shoot and shoot and shoot to get something useful.

Well not any more. Woo-hoo I'm I happy.

Often I have to do over 30 critters so time is an issue. Fast and furious is how I shoot adoption pics.

These were all F1.7, no flash, small, in camera sharpness at 0. Think I will stop down for the dogs next time because of their muzzles.

Only down side to the GH2 is there is no small 640x480 option so I have to resize every thing. But I saved a huge amount of time not struggling with blinking eyes because of the flash so I will take it.

Yeah, I am thrilled with how well they came out.
