Just got my GH2 today and when on a Huanted walk downtown and brought it along to take some pictures.

    As I don't have a MFT lens yet I used my Nikon lens, a 58mm f/1.2 Noct-Nikkor and the 15mm f2.8 Nikkor Fisheye.

I like your photos...I can't give suggestions because I am learning the camera myself...I have had it for two weeks now! I feel like I need to go on a vacation or something! My dogs are getting tired of me photographing them!! I went on a ghost tour in Key West several months ago ( did not have this camera then, but the Panasonic LX3 went along) and had a great time!!

    Now with Videos!

Okay, Round Two was to try out the video mode on the GH2, so far I'm really liking it! If you click to watch in the player it should go to 1080p - shot with 24 Cinema Mode.

GH2 + Noct-Nikkor (same lens as above post's photos) at a Fountain beside the Russian Embassy in Ottawa.

GH2 + 20mm f/1.7 of an intersection I can see from my balcony (ETC mode engaged)

Both set-ups give me good results, still new to the GH2 so I suspect I can do much better with time. Thanks for watching, suggestions for what to try next always appreciated!

Okay, now I've also Tried some Astrophotography using the GH2. I had the camera for the widefield shots mounted on my HEQ5 mount which tracks the sky as the ISS flew by. I also used the camera on the back end of my 100mm APO telescope for taking pictures of the Hercules Star Cluster.

Although its a full moon tonight the results were none the less great!

Note: My telescope mount was designed to carry up to 36lbs of Telescope gear, normally I load it 15lbs for photography (1/2 stability rule)... had to add a flash unit to the top of the camera just so that I could balance the set-up the camera was so light and my counterweights are so big... going to bring the smaller weights next time.

I love your ISS shots - how long is your exposure? I'm assuming pretty long if you are having to compensate for the Earth's rotation!

I was doing a few at 30seconds (like the one posted above) some as long as 60seconds - the maximum non-bulb time on the GH2. I need to get a remote for longer shots.

It is generally a surprise to people how fast the earth does rotate and how streaking of stars is so easy.

Longest I ever went was 10 minutes with my Nikon D90 and Telescope to get the horse-head nebula.

I'm getting more and more impressed by this camera's low light ability... here is a early morning shot of some rare upper atmosphere clouds.
