First of all, hi all.. I'm new to this forum and a pretty new GH2 user.

    I have some 2 FD lenses ( 50mm 1.4 and 28mm 2.8 ), a 14mm pancake, a 45mm oly 1.8 and the kit 14-140mm.
I thought that it was normal for FD adapted lenses focus past infinity, but i discovered that turning on manual mode with AF lenses and turning focus ring all the way till the lcd focus slider is to the left give me out of focus images ( and video ). I can get good focus at about 3/4 of the slider to the left. This is really annoing in low light situations and night shots. The only fast way to get infinity focus is to turn off and then on the camera and the lens is resetted to infinity.

Is this a common issue with GH2 or should i take it to assistance?

The focusing system used on the Panasonic MFT cameras actually needs to focus beyond infinity in the AF mode. Since MF is basically manually operating the AF, it carries over. I am fairly certain (but not 100% sure) that the Oly cameras do the same.
