It looks very nice. Much more professional than the GH1 (I had one last year), no green splashes on the dials this time. Now I'm slightly tempted, especially after your tests :) Please will you post some outdoors pics when the weather improves?

It is more plastic feeling and looking than the GH1 in the flesh. However it seems very well put together.

I'm just about to venture off out into the snow. I may be some time.

Congratulations, David - we will try to wait patiently for those winter scenes! Perhaps a thermos of something good to warm you, as a little take a long since you won't be carrying a large DSLR?
I've started, in very short bursts I might add! as my fingers are in danger of falling off!

Some samples:-

Thanks for sharing, the GH2 does look very good.

There looks to be some detail in the shadows, is there noticably more headroom to push things around in RAW (compared to other m4/3 excluding gh1)?

I'll look forward to reading your blog David :)

Its very early days, but I think I detect the greater headroom that you mention. It seems that the raw files are able to cope with dynamic range better - by doing that they are probably slightly less "punchy" than other m4/3 files. However thats probably better than the other way round.

As I said its just an impression I get.
