    Hello.

Yesterday we had our first snowfall here in Hamburg. The day before i hacked my GH2 to 66Mbit. So it was obvious to go out and shoot to stress the codec. I also tested the 80% slow motion (what a versatile Camera!).

Vimeo produced much artefacts this time. For better quality feel free to download the original file.

    Lenses: Voigtlander Nokton 25mm
    Lumix 14-140mm

can't believe it's all white in Hamburg already while we haven't had any snow in Braunschweig yet... Makes me miss my hometown Hamburg. Great footage, ILL definitely take my GH2 out for a shoot if it decides to snow down here too. What parameters were you using for the hack?

But the snow doesn`t survived till evening. Everything is gone now :(
You have the "Harz" in your backyard. Go there if you want snow. Please let the GH2 see some winter!
I downloaded a 66Mbit preset from Topics List - Personal View Talks
Sorry, but i can`t remember the presets name.

Film Mode Smooth with everything dialed down to -2, except sharpness (-1).

    Very pretty!

I am wondering, what do you use to:

    1) change focus so smoothly without jittering the camera?

    2) pan so smoothly without jittering the camera?

Yeah I was wondering the same, especially as the Voigtländer is a manual lens. How do you do that?

    1) That`s why i love the Voigtlander. It`s a dream to focus with it. You also need a stable tripod.

    2) Ah, there are some jitterings. I tried my best (don`t breathe, use two hands and pan very slowly)

When i want the focus to change i do it always manualy.
