GH2 and 14-140mm is too much money so I wanna know if the 14-45 will give good to very good IQ. Also, is the lens good enough for video? Thanks.

Yes, so long as you are reasonably close to your subject. You can always buy other lenses later

Never had a 14-45 but you may get focus motor noise in your videos. The 14-140 has a different silent motor.

14-140 is the way to go

For video, the 14-140 is really "the" lens to have. It offers continuous AF and the motors are virtually silent. The 14-45 is "OK" but you won't be able to enjoy the GH's video quality and performance w/o it. Eventually you will get the 14-140, so it might be worth waiting and getting it as a package where it is less expensive.

I have the GH2 and both the 14-45mm and 14-140mm. For stills I prefer the 14-45mm: its IQ is at least as good as that of the 14-140mm and it's much lighter. Especially when using the 14-140mm above 50mm the IQ degrades, especially in the corners and it's no match for the 45-200mm, so I don't see the point of using the 14-140mm for stills despite its obvious convenience of not having to switch between lenses. Also the 14-140mm's highlights tend to bleed into darker areas causing highlights to look somewhat unsharp.

BTW, I'm on my 2nd sample of the 14-140mm, both behave similarly. Will I keep mine? Yes, for video. Won't say anything about that, because I'm totally ignorant about video
