Just a quick question for anyone who has used or is still currently using the GF7 - how does the hinge hold up over time? I'm a heavy user of the flip out screen on my oly bodies, I've never worried about it because the mechanism seems solid and robust.
The hinge for the GF7 seems solid but also looks to me like it could become lose over time which is a concern for someone who shoots with the lcd tilted at an angle 90% of the time.

Only used mine a few months, and use the flip screen every time. It's a much more solid design than I anticipated when ordering. The LCD bezel/frame is very sturdy with zero play and closes securely to the body with a relatively strong magnet.

I'll also say the entire body is very well built for a budget model.

Thanks. I'd actually tried it earlier this week. Didn't realize there was a magnet in there.

Do you happen to know if the level indicator can be calibrated by the user? Two i've tried seemed to be off.

I don't think the level can be calibrated. Shame, mine is off too :-|
