Does anyone know how to check the GF6's shutter actuations?
If its like the other Panasonics, probably look at the file number of a photo. But FYI, if you are checking a new camera purchase, its possible to reset the count on other Panasonics and its not in the EXIF data
Thanks. I'll take a look at the file number. Is this in the EXIF data?
No, Just snap a picture and look at it on the camera. Hit display till you see the file number along side the picture. If its like other Panasonics you will see 1xx-xxxx I'm not sure, but I believe the 2nd x (1xX-xxx) is thousands and last four digits (1xx-XXXX) count hundreds. For example, the file number of my GX1 says 105-0927 which I'm pretty sure is 5927 shutter actuations.
Just found this http://www.apotelyt.com/photo-camera/panasonic-g-shutter-count It verifies what I described above and its possible one of those methods would work with the GF6
Thanks GFFPhoto. Appreciate your input!.
