jbuch and petach, thank you both for starting off this GF2 thread!:2thumbs:

Impressive tweaking in LR, jbuch - the scene has a mystery about it that might not have been there with a straight processing.

petach, that is a beautiful barbershop - your choice of black and white and that 14mm worked out wonderfully!

Looking forward to more!

Difference between GF2 and EOS5od?

..............the 50d is wondering what it has done to upset me whilst his cousin Geoff (GF2) gets to go out a lot!

A B&W "slideshow" reportage from a cafe in Shenfield Essex. (The link looks weird, but it does work if you click on the header in the box)

Thanks - No I did an HDR image and didn't like it. I use Aperture 3 supplemented with Nik's various software programs after getting a real good discounted deal on their full collection last year. For this one, I used Color Efex Pro and the tonal contrast pre-set. The existing light filtering thru the trees probably helped also.

Mac vs. windows can be debated but Lightroom and CS5 are excellent. There have been many times I wished I just went the LR route when I went from iPhoto to Aperture, but at this point after sticking with it and taking a number of online classes, etc., Overall, there are pros and cons to each with plenty of satisfied users in each camp.
