Canon 7D + 50mm 1.4 PAL 23,976 fps 1080i
No CC
Edited on Adobe Premiere CS5 AVCHD 1080 25 fps (I HAVE TO de-interlaced for the export for vimeo)

I'm just coming back from Le Salon de la Photographie de Paris today, and my friend Christophe and I have done some exclusive tests with the upcoming Panasonic GF2. I have interviewed Luc Saint-Elie from Panasonic about this new hybrid camera, and I also had the chance to do a quick test with it. We also have done a quick test with the upcoming Panasonic GH2, it was a real pleasure, even if we had only the 45-200 zoom lens. Finally I had the opportunity of doing a quick test of the Voigtlander Nokton 25mm 0.95.
What a busy day ! :)

No, it was taken with a GH1 and C-mount Fujian 35mm 1.7 lens

wow ! very good result from a cheap lens.
- how far was your camera from the person's face to get such a closeup ?
- during this shot did you stay at f1.7 or did you raise your aperture to f3 or f4 ?
- as his eyes were already out of focus when you were focused on his nose, how did you manage to manually refocus in real time as he was moving backward and forward and listening to the conversation at the same time, in order to ask your next question ?

thank for sharing your experience.

I was very near him. For refocusing, I can do it with the ring or keeping the same distance while he's moving

to free you from racking the focus ring in real time have you tried filming with an autofocus lens such as the panasonic 20mm f1.7 ? it is too slow to refocus, or the af get out of focus all the time without warning ?

thanks

I'm only working in manual focus, even with Lumix lenses :)
