Nice shows David, I would have liked to see some panning type shots - do you have a tripod or something, which would allow that?

Also, perhaps some more relaxing / soothing music for the nature shots?

Also, what do you use to edit your videos, and where do you find your music? I'd like to improve my video skills.

    Cheers

I'm not very good at panning!!
    I use iMovie.
I write, play and record the music myself.

    You are very kind.

For my sins I used to do a lot of recording session work and also taught music technology for a while. But don't blame me for the current state of popular music!!!

I've always thought of myself as a bit of a luxury item. While other people can build houses and grow food, I can take your picture and play you a tune!!

I "grew up" in computer terms with Macs. (The music technology etc.) So they are what I know best.

I'm only a video novice. Fortunately I work with my nephew who's got lots of experience. He edits in premiere on a PC for the fancy stuff & I've only mastered iMovie. I'm still learning how to to shoot with regard to the final edit. We've got some big jobs coming up in the spring and I need to improve my skills. At the moment I frame for a still and let something move in front of the camera!! Hence the lack of panning and zooming etc. I'm still a photographer who shoots a bit of video, but things are improving & I love using the GH1, which is fantastic quality. I've just rigged it up to look at the footage via my HD TV. Its amazing. It looks every bit the equal of HD transmissions.

For video I thoroughly recommend this site. Philip Bloom has done a lot of work with video enabled DSLR's and he's got some amazing stuff shot with a GH1.
