Pro shooter to cover London 2012 using Panasonic Lumix DMC-G5: Digital Photography Review
You have to love all of the "equivalency Nazis" in the DPR comment section. So much hate. If it's not full frame, it must be garbage. And that's why I don't bother with DPR forums/comments anymore...
Still, I am interested to see what Dean's ultimate results are, what his experience with the G5 in that environment is like, and - much like the DPR haters - would be curious to know what his rough keeper rate is...
having 4 cameras on your neck and still smile, priceless.

Heh good point!
If anyone out there isn't familiar with DPR- try to avoid the comments on front page stories, especially anything to do with µ4/3.
I usually take some time reading DPR comments. It kinda funny.
BTW, it's nice too see Panasonic doing some marketing in the Olympics.
You have to hope he's testing out the 35-100.
The 2x crop might be a useful advantage out there, actually. I wonder if anyone will try to do the V1/F-mount thing?
geez!!! whats the problem with the people at DPR. its not even funny reading those comments anymore. if its not a "ferrari" you're not allowed to go on the streets... I have a FF camera and a m43 camera, i can live in peace with both systems.
im not sold to anyone. go out and shoot and have fun.
...and good move for panasonic! its good to see/read those D/X/MK/5kg-or die-cameras photog talking...
I stand correct.

Awesome drewbot, I hope the 35-100 is coming soon... after the 12-35 I'm duly impressed and would love to have the other half of the dynamic duo
TBH I don't think the photographer is really doing justice to the m43 system. For instance

I've seen much better from supposed amateurs
It's a pity he couldn't stick on one of the 43 pro Zuikos on the camera, but even without that he could have done so much more, drawn much better out of the gear.
This guy is making a better fist of things using an iphone
