Just a quick check back to say that DXO Photolab has been great so far. If I didn't do any more than let it do the changes it recommends and use Deep Prime noise reduction (neither of which were what I thought I was buying it for) it would already be worth it. The rest of the tools seem to have a less steep learning curve than other app I looked at, perhaps because the interface makes more sense to me.

I have been shooting raw and jpg, but using raw for anything I care about. I figure the jpgs are there if I need to quickly grab something with no post processing.

Any way I think I'll be sticking with DXO.
