    Hmm, no mention of weather-sealing on the G85 as on the previously leaked specs, but hopefully that is just because it is a basic press release without all the details. If so, that lets the winds out of my sails a fair bit.

    if true the ability to work with the battery grip is a big plus. The fact that you can buy just the body shows this is being marketed as top end mid tier camera.

    The fact that it comes with the 12-60 might be telling, but why would marketing leave out such a key spec?

    I agree. You'd think normally it would come with the 14-42 or even the 12-32. But maybe they just see the improved Power OIS in the 12-60 as working best with the newest generation IBIS for handheld video use, as well as the more versatile range. But then, the G cameras usually came with a 14-140 option, instead. Who knows...
