(G85) Keep display info on while recording video?

I have a G85 and weekly I record an hour or so of video using it of my daughters at their horse-riding lessons. I hold the camera at arms length and use the rear display. After a minute or so the info parts of the display turn off and all that I see is the recording status. No more focus info or other settings. How can I force those informational displays to stay on the whole time?
