I didn't see a dedicated G7 image thread, so please post your G7 photos here.

My G7 arrived today and I didn't even have a chance to open the box and take a look at it until just a few minutes ago. Compared to my G5, there a several more controls and it's going to take me a minute to figure out what they all do and what I want to change and customize. But I couldn't wait for all that, so I attached the 14-140 I bought with it as a kit and took a photo. It's night here, so I was somewhat limited to subjects. I fell back on an arrangement of roses we have on the table. This is shot at ISO 3200 with no noise reduction and very minimal processing of any kind. I limited my shooing on my G5 to ISO 1600 and really tried not to go over 800. I am very pleased with this shot at 3200. Especially with a superzoom lens. I think I am going to be very happy. Also, this was shot at 1/15 at 92mm. Not too bad.

I'm sure more will follow, but I think I might actually play with some settings and learn the camera a bit more now.

Is that first shot a OOC JPeg? Just curious. if so, the default colors look pretty good.

No, they were both shot RAW. However, I use Photoshop Elements 13's camera raw to process my RAW images. And my PSE will not read the G7 RAW files nor will it update to the latest camera raw version. So, these were just basically processed with iPhoto and no color enhancements were done.

I have a similar "won't update" issue: If you want to play around, you could download the Adobe Raw converter to change them over to DNG. It's annoying but it does work.

Nobody else is going to share their G7 photos? I guess I will try to keep this going. I am in Miami for work, and today before dinner I took a short walk around Miami with the 14-140. I am using that lens right now to see how I like it. It is kind of amazing to a country boy like me the diversity of things you see in just a few minutes in a city like Miami.

    Here are a few.

This one was taken through a plate glass window into an old style barbershop with the lady barber wearing an interesting outfit.

Dynasport can you explain the blue tint on the first two tower block photos?

I took them through a window in my hotel. I'm not sure, but the window may have caused the tint.

So, my wife and I took our granddaughter to a play area in a local mall today. So, of course I brought the G7. This is the main reason I have a camera after all. While I enjoy all kinds of photography, family pictures (snapshots if you will) are what I treasure the most. So, how did it do in indoor light and a fast moving target? Well, not perfect, but honestly as good as my old Canon dslr. I used the O45 and wished I'd had more length. I think the O75 would have been better, but since I don't own it I cropped.

Here are a few from today as an example. I won't inundate the thread with pictures of my granddaughter, even though she is a doll.

This one could have used more SS I think. And she was running, so it might not be a lack of SS, it might be a bit missed focused.

In retrospect, I might have been better off raising the ISO and shooting with a smaller aperture for a larger DOF to ensure better focus. Still, all in all I am happy with the shots under the conditions.

Didn't see your thread, Dan! I've been waiting for a G7 showcase. Love this camera! And the 4K burst is amazing!

Oh, and here is my G7 Flickr album. I've got several hundred more pictures that I haven't even looked at, so there will be more added soon—I need longer days! https://www.flickr.com/photos/kristi_decourcy/albums/72157655250014481

The colors pouring out of the G7 are amazing. I believe these are all OOC. I love it except but am extremely disjointed Adobe has chosen not to support the RAW in CS6.

Pre dawn for Richard's first triathlon. ISO 3200 isn't too bad.

This tri included a run up 3 stories to a pedestrian over crossing. The elevator was race legal, but few took that route. Again 3200 (it was much darker than it looks in the picture).
