I love my new G5, but I am struggling with settings, buttons, and menus, and would love some help from an experienced user.

First, I've noticed that sometimes my picture is zoomed, and sometimes it isn't (this must be a setting). For instance as I turn the dial from C1 to M the view zooms way in. When I press IA, the view zooms out again, to what I consider the correct view. Video is zoomed. What's going on here?

I'm wondering how to change from one creative setting to another. So far I move the dial to P and then back to the palette again.is there another way to do it?

That's all I can think of right now! Thanks for any help!

I'm not quite sure what you're describing... how much does it zoom in or out? It's possible you have different aspect ratios set for C1 and M, thus when you switch between them the image appear to "Zoom"?
