You can. It defaults to exposure compensation in shutter or aperture priority modes, and aperture control in full manual mode.

    Digital Single Lens Mirrorless?

Now we have EVIL, MILC, CSC and DSLM. How many more abbreviations can we come up with for the same thing?

I kinda like DSLM, consistent with DSLT and DSLR designations.

Nothing wrong with DSLM. In fact I don't think any of the names are bad. They just need the industry to conform to a single abbreviation.

    Digital Single-lens Reflex
    Digital Single-lens Translucent
    Digital Single-lens Mirrorless

I wonder how Olympus feels about this.

Actually, the CSC name is bad. Any time someone mentions compact I want to kill myself.

Regarding SLT, I know Sony wanted to come up with something to differentiate their cameras, but they really are still DSLRs. The reflex in SLR refers to a mirror, not a swinging mirror. TLRs are reflex designs, and the mirrors don't move. Canon made a number of film cameras with translucent mirrors, and everyone still called them SLRs.

I prefer Olympus CSC or Panasonic CSC.

So, is this camera's body metal?

Aluminum, I read one place. Is Panasonic starting to migrate away from the plastic, finally? Reason I asked is that metal bodies can be made smaller.

I though that they will keep G series as smaller versions of more professional GH line :( Sadly G5 is bigger than my G3...

I want to get it in my hands, you have to judge the size yourself with these things.

The front plate is aluminium, that's it. I'd prefer all metal too, I've got used to it after having the GF1 for so long.
