I haven't figured out how to set my G5 to continue its file numbering sequence beyond 999; it starts over again at 001.

I tried setting the "No. Reset" to "no", but it didn't make any difference in terms of file numbering.

Is there a way to have the files continue beyond 999?

Short answer is no. There is a thread on the forum somewhere (I couldn't find it quickly) addressing the subject. Basically, the first 3 digits are the folder number (100xxxx), the fourth digit is a zero and used a spacer, followed by the frame number 000 to 999. 999 folders containing 1000 photos each as I recall.

Thanks Dan. Kind of disappointing as I won't be able to create custom folders and add files as I would have to rename each file. :frown:

Mine here too with a GH3, the file number goes back to 001 after 999.
