Adorama has the G5 deal I snagged again. Camera, 14-42mm lens, 45-150mm lens, and $100 GC for $598. They also have the camera and the kit lens with the GC for $498.

If you don't want the GC, B&H has the $543 deal again for the camera and both lenses.

Amazon is running the same deal as B&H: Amazon.com: Panasonic DMC-G5KK 16 MP Compact System Camera with 14-42mm Zoom Lens and 3-Inch LCD (Black): Camera & Photo

It's $200 off the lens, and shows up when you check out.

I got a similar deal a few months ago, though with their pricing at the time the lens ended up being free. :)

Unless you have an aversion to the DLSR style body, it's probably the best MFT deal that is out there. The G5 is a great camera, and the 45-150 is an excellent lens.

Though if you already have enough lenses, you could probably sell those two and get the body for under $300.

How does the 45-150 compare to the 45-200?

Besides being much more compact and lighter, I feel it is a sharper lens.

I took advantage of this deal last time it went around. That 45-150 is spectacular (but I am a beginner so my compliment may not mean much).

You can get the same setup (G5 + 14-42 old kit + 45-150) at amazon for $498. No GC involved. Click on the "special offers" box for promotion to get 45-150 for $200 off if you buy the G5 kit. Right now lens is $198, so it's free with the $498 camera.

I wish they had the G5X kit at amazon too (14-42 PZ instead), or better yet have the new 14-42 kit lens already, instead of the old one that this comes with :( I just picked up the 14mm f/2.5 pancake prime at amazon for $151 a couple days ago, so I am even less interested in this 14-42 zoom now.

EDIT: I see madogvelkor mentioned this deal last night in an earlier; I saw it too, but at that time the 45-150 was something like $247, it dropped $50 sometime overnight. So it went from being "same deal as B&H" to "probably better deal than adorama" (since you don't have the hassle of having to essentially buy & later use a $100 GC to get the $498 price).

LATER EDIT: this is (for time being) dead, price of lens is back up to $247.

That's even better! The same deal I got a few months ago, though I think at the time the lens was full price and they were giving you $300 off of it. But it works out to $498 in the end, which you really can't beat. The nice thing about the G5 is that it has the viewfinder built in, which means you save at least $150 it would cost to buy one for a Pen or GX1.

Though perhaps it would be more appropriate to use the Amazon link on this page and support the Mu-43 forum. (It's under Support MU-43 at the top of each page, under Affiliate Links.)

This is such an awesome deal on a G5 which is so nice to handle and I love the EVF. Mine was $380 body only and I thought I stole it at this price a few months ago!

The 14-42 would be good for video given the OIS.

I only recently got this camera and both lenses as part of a trade deal and the G5 and the 45-150mm lens are both excellent. I have an OM-D E-M5 also and I like the G5 every bit as much. Each of those cameras has their own strengths and can stand alone on them IMO.
