G3..Self Timer

    How the heck do I turn it off, I can change it but not turn it off.

    Usually they self cancel after taking the shot.

    I'm sure you've figured it out by now but just hit the drive mode button and select it back to single shot.

    I read this thread with the same problem but couldn't figure how to turn off the self timer. How did you guys do it? Thanks for the help.

    As mentioned by Kevin, press the Drive Mode button -- it's the one directly below the Menu/Set button on the back of the camera.

    Then switch from "Self-Timer" to "Single" on the menu that appears on the screen, either using the directional buttons, or by touching the icons on the screen.

    Thanks Bryan. I was confused why the self timer menu had 10 Sec, 10 Sec with three photos, and 2 Sec options but no 'cancel' option. Just tried the Single Shot option and it worked just fine.
