It looks like the promotional price to pre-order a G3 from Club Panasonic/Panasonic Direct is gone. I see the G3 with 14-42 is listed at $699 and the body-only at $599 - the same as everywhere else in the U.S. Oh well, I was about to preorder one. I guess that's what happens to those who hesitate. :)

The EPP pricing is still there as well at $449 and $525 body/kit respectively.

The $509.99 is with Facebook - can you get the EPP pricing w/o being an employee??

Yes, if your employer is affiliated with Panasonic in some way shape or form they might have a sharing program, that is the only other way I know aside from being employed by them.

I'm not sure if they just participate with networked businesses or if your company would have to have some sort of direct relationship with their business operations (I work for a bank, good chance there is some sort of corporate relationship that gives us access, what that is - I don't know!).

Yes. In one of the EPP PD threads I posted, maybe the one for the G3 or the GF1 or maybe GH1, I posted a code you can use to signup for EPP. I still have a GH1 for $275 in my cart.

lenshoarder... is the GH1 still available on the PD page? Doesn't look like it to me. But for $275, I might pick one up.

Nope. It's gone. They raised the price back up. It lives on in my cart at the lower price though.

The GH1 hasn't been listed on the EPP site for a while. Even if it's in your cart, if you ordered it you would most likely get an email from them saying that it is no longer available.

anyone care to point this out, I can't seem to find it. If I can get a G3 for $450, might just swing it for a second G3, heh
