There is a quite detailed interview in Q&A format with 2 Panasonic officials.
Nice read, Bill. I wish they had addressed GH2 availability!
I'm assuming the release of the G3 means the end of G2 production?
Not a fan of touchscreen tech. Especially when using the lvf-1 on the GF1, the ability to switch modes, functions, settings while still focusing on the subject is convenient & quick. Personally it would be a pita to take my attention off the image & start touchscreen"ing". Improved sensor and built in evf are 2 elements I hope for but probably will never see in the next gen GF.
I am not a fan of touchscreen either. But with the G3 you do not have to use the touchscreen, and the changes can be made with the camera to your eye, just as with the GF1. There are fewer dedicated buttons, but there are two programmable buttons in addition to the buttons around the 4-way controller and the thumbwheel.
You know something that we don't?
Good catch. Corrected.
Um...GF3 will be Leica-esque in appearance and function, virtually noise-free to ISO 6400 and have EVF, OVF and anti-touch screen software.
Gimme, gimme, gimme!!
