G3 and 100-300OSI Goodness

    I see why many have raved about this lens. Aside from it's amazing perspective it gives, it's amazingly sharp (if you can hold still long enough :tongue:) . Here's a good one at 300mm handheld. I encourage you to visit the link below it for a view of the actual file. It reveals some amazing detail, resolution and color in the "Natural" setting no less :biggrin:

    I've just put a few shots on to the Native Lens Gallery but forgot to say that they were also taken using the G3.

    For telephoto use the G3 is far better than my G1/GF-1 because a) you can hike the ISO up to 800 without worrying about noise and giving you the chance to use a high shutter speed b) vignetting can be dealt with in camera and c)intelligent resolution looks after any jpeg softness.
    Even my 45-200 behaves better with the G3:smile:
