I thought I'd post this image, taken with my G1 on a tripod, using a m4/3 to Nikon adapter. Lens is an older Tamron SP90AF macro. (This is an older macro lens, originally designed and sold for use on 35mm Nikon cameras.)

I don't recall the details e.g. aperture, etc., only the cramped legs from the crouch I had to get into to take the series of shots that this one came from!

Shows some nice qualities of the lens used with the G1, IMHO. Feel free to comment.

Very good Brian I have heard good things about this lens.
With macro work and flowers DOF is an issue so you need to compose and use
a viewpoint that shows the subject to best effect.
You cant get the total subject in focus so I always try get the center and stamens in focus.
Lighting also has an impact so I like dappled sunlight / backlight / early morning / late afternoon sun.

This is one of the best 90mm macro lenses available, and doubles as a great long portrait lens on 4/3. Not that there's a bad 90mm macro - Tamron, Vivitar, Kiron, and Tokina all made these, and they are universally sharp and allow 1:1 or 1:2 macro.
