Last Sunday I took 145 pictures at Fashion Sunday in my hometown.
Gear: G1 plus 14-45 kitlens.
Sandisk SD card class 4, 4GB.
AF set to single shot.
I noticed that the AF was too slow and the shooting speed was too low.
What did I "wrong"?
Maybe I must go for AF continue as well as for a faster SD card?
Advice and suggestions are welcome, thanks in advance.

I use only Class 6 SDHC cards, Herman, and I don't have to complain about speed.
But, then, I rarely use autofocus as I mainly shoot with MF lenses.

Herman were you using single shot AF because they were walking towards/away from you? Was the light low?
I know nothing but I'd have been tempted to use 3-shot multifilm and get 3 shots per focus, or leave it on C-AF constant shooting... but I've never even tried to shoot a show.

Thanks Raf and Ulfric for your replies.
I think it's better to set autofocus to AFC and use the 3-shot multifilm.
Light was okay.
What's exactly the difference between class 4 and 6 of a SD card.
Which class is recommended for high speed shooting?

Thanks Raf and Ulfric for your replies.
Yip, wikipedia is my friend.

I have taken dozens of pictures last Sunday in my hometown during an open air fashion show. I have posted the images at this thread:

I found myself in need of:
Faster AF
High speed shooting

CC welcome, thanks in advance.
