K1, 1st one is cropped in to 16:9 , clearview added in DXO.

We're smoked in here in Melbourne today, everything is like shooting through a fine curtain.

You don't hear a lot about the Pentax Dslr's, but in my experience they consistently do more with Sony sensors than Nikon, and arguably even Sony. If you only wanted a Full Frame for landscapes / still life , you could do a hell of a lot worse than this camera.

I'd lent a couple of bits of kit out to friends recently (well, over the last year or so) but got my D700 back last night. I sold off all bar one of the my AF Nikon lenses, just keeping the cheap little 28-70 3.5-4.5. I've always known it - affectionately - as 'the old clunker' and had forgotten how darn heavy the thing is! :D

Still, I have a great fondness for it, and love the files it produces from those big old pixels:
