For those without the exif details , these shots from me have been with the Pentax K1 and the very cheap DA35/2.4 plastic prime. Which in theory is a crop sensor lens, but in reality is based on the old FA35 optics and merely gives a little bit of vignette on the bigger sensor. I actually really like how it renders on this sensor. You often hear "film like" from digital photogs - I don't think it's really film like but this sensor output does feel smoother and less digital.
JPEGs sent to phone, some contrast, shadows lifted and watermark added in Snapseed, posted online.
It's interesting that they're getting some pretty good feedback.
I hadn't bothered with my SLRs for several years, but I'm trying to streamline my camera setups and forced myself to use the Pentax stuff again to make some decisions. This camera is giving me some serious food for thought. It's bulky, but with primes attached not prohibitively so. The IQ from the 36mp sensor is very very nice and that's without even using the Raws. I think it's killed off any need/want for Fuji aps-c. And then, if this becomes my specialised use camera, do I really need the largish G9 ? Or should I down size to the smaller MFT bodies again? I'm certainly not giving up MFT , not even remotely. But I may settle on a FF/M43 combo and therefore place more value on the compactness of the EM5/PenF/Gx9 size. Or I may just sell out of FF/DSLR's and stay happy with my mirrorless gear. The K1 certainly won't fit in a jacket pocket.......
Some important decisions ahead. But no great rush.
