If that scene was down here now, it would deafening.
We've had a howling gale (from the East) on this West coast for almost a week and the noise in the trees is tree-mendous (sorry :whistling: ).
My wife couldn't get to sleep last night and kept asking if I could hear it.
Being deaf as a post without my hearing aids, and suffering from loud machine-like noise from tinnitus, I kept telling her "No".

Oh it's a very different picture today here in Lincolnshire - yesterday was quiet (but bitterly cold) whilst today it's been positively storm-like. Took a walk round Stapleford Woods near Newark this morning, the wind was howling through the trees making quite a racket. Wonderful noise though. :)

I love the Df - in so many ways it's a full frame Pen F. Full of character, slightly (ok, very in some eyes) controversial, didn't sell in big numbers either. However, having got to know the thing, it's a joy to shoot and begs to be picked up and used. Just like the Pen F.

In honor of Perserverance successfully landing on Mars, here are a couple abstract images I shot a few days ago. They remind me of a martian landscape.

My D600 hasn't been getting much of a work-out recently as I've mostly been using Pentax & M43 stuff. However there was a lovely bright moon out tonight so I thought I'd give it a burl...

Moon with the 28-105 - I was actually super impressed...

Then I went to change lenses and check my settings & shot my bedroom light-shade - not as bright as the moon but I like the darkness...

Then I stuck the old 70-300 push-pull zoom on and it actually did AOK too...

Old glass and old sensors are actually still pretty great :)
