It's funny, Nova Scoatia and Knoxsville (and even Lincoln!) seem so exotic and interesting that I can't imagine how Gloucester can compete. But anywhere, this the entrance to Gloucester docks with the River Severn heading off under the bridge.

I am still in the learning process with my K1. One of the features that I was excited to play with is the Interval Composite. It is Pentax's version of Live Composite. It actually has a little better control than my Olympuses. I look forward to playing around.

This is the first monument to George Washington in the US. Built by the citizens of Boonsboro MD in 1827, it is located just off the Appalachian Trail near the summit of Monument Knob on South Mountain about a mile southeast of Boonsboro.

One of the things that made the Pentax option interesting to me was the ability to use lenses going back to the beginning of the SLR. That means a heck of a lot of options. This was shot with the Pentax-M 40 f/2. A lens from the late 70s- early 80s.
My wife made her pickled beet eggs recipe last night. She decided to use the photogenic Weck jars.
