We found some peace and solitude in the countryside and the 8 people we passed during the 2.5 hours were kept at an unsociable 2m distance at all times! Just hoping our walking routes don’t suddenly become popular. Oh, and we found a lizard! All taken with Nikon Z6 and either the 24-70/4 or 50/1.8 Z lenses.

Allowed one long walk a day - make it a good one. Silent pathways...

I love my daily walk - I used to run this route a few years ago (it's a circuit of about 4.4 miles from our house) but owing to my heart attack last Sept it's now a brisk walk. A camera always goes with me, and with good the old D700 I get to do weight training too. :)

Got a Miops water drop kit, after about 5 hours of fiddling about I think I got a few good ‘uns. Lots to learn technique wise but getting there! Shot with R plus Canon F2.8 IS USM 100 Macro and yangnuo flash.

Bee was still where I left him after picking it up off the concrete and leaving it on some flowers yesterday. Gave it some sugar water and it was gone last time I checked. Still, had a chance to point some other cameras at it while it was in a tired/stationary frame of mind.

I have to say, for an old camera the D700 continues to deliver the goods.

Not a particularly great shot but I opened the front door for the cat this morning and noticed this - figured I had about 20min to get a shot before the sun came up and had to rush around to find something suitable. Popped the D700 onto a little mini Leica tripod, slapped the 18mm f3.5 on their and took a couple of quick shots. Annoyingly I'd just filed away the Nikon remote release and couldn't remember how to get the self timer working. Sigh.

Ah well, one of the shots came out OK and I can now make a 'Lunar Carona' joke (I had The Knack playing in my head)...

Re cropped some photos using the golden spiral, broke a couple of other ”rules” along the way. A mix of FF and 4/3rds.
