    Be very, very, very careful when dealing with homebrewdude. His ad, above, states, "XE-1 camera with original items."
    When the package arrived, shipped three days AFTER payment was delivered by PayPal, the "original items" missing from the shipment: Li-ion battery NP-W126, Battery charger BC-W126 and the Owners Manual. These items are NOT listed as being missing in homebrewdude's ad, above.
    When I asked about these missing items, homebrewdude responded, "The reason I offered the 2 aftermarket batteries, charger, SD card and SD reader was from loosing the OEM battery and charger." but nowhere in his ad was this mentioned.
    I have requested a refund of the purchase price plus return shipping as homebrewdude's ad was/is completely deceptive. The refund/return has been denied by homebrewdude and I will be contacting PayPal for resolution.

    I offered a refund.... He files a paypal case.
    I sent the refund...
    He has not sent the camera.

    It was advertised correctly and I sent photos....

    Contacted Paypal, they are suggesting I file a police report.

    Let me see if I can make the facts simple enough for even you to understand.
    In your above post you state, "I offered a refund…. He files a paypal case."
    Is this, in your opinion, how you offer a refund?:

    Seems to me your response is a definite "No" to any refund.

    In your response above you state, "He has not sent the camera."
    Pray tell me, homebrewdude, why would I return the junk you sent me before
    receiving a refund? Plus, you didn't even have the courtesy to send me a
    message telling me you were issuing a refund. In fact, you have exhibited
    very little courtesy at all for this transaction but I suppose that's because
    PayPal took one look at my documentation for my claim and immediately
    placed a hold on some funds in your PayPal account. Apparently, that funds
    hold caused you to decide to issue a refund, although you failed to so inform
    me. (I'm so sorry for any inconvenience to you but I certainly have a legitimate
    case due to your deceptive description of what you were selling.)
    Just in case you do not know, homebrewdude, the only information available
    to me from PayPal was a note saying this transaction was waiting for a refund.
    Having done some research today, January 23, I find you did, indeed, initiate
    a refund on January 18, most likely because PayPal placed a hold on your
    funds, not because you decided that, perhaps, your description of the items
    for sale was not exactly correct, nor fully disclosed. Since your 'refund' could
    not be completed by funds in your PayPal account, you issued an E-check to
    PayPal on Sunday, January 18, a day when banks are closed. Banks were
    also closed for the January 19 holiday, so your E-check did not start to process
    until January 20 and did not result in a credit to my PayPal account until some
    time yesterday, January 22.
    Here's the actual process as described by PayPal:
    "Thank you for contacting PayPal Customer Support. My name is Kirk and I am
    writing you upon your request regarding the refund that was sent to you on
    Jan 18 but cleared on Jan 22, 2015.
    If a refund is sent* in the form of an eCheck, the funds will be placed on
    temporary hold until such time that the funds have cleared the sender's bank,
    which is between 3 to 4 business days.* In this case, the refund was initiated
    on Jan 18 (Sunday) and since Jan 19 was a bank holiday, the clearing*started
    on Tuesday, Jan 20.* The funds cleared and posted in your PayPal balance
    on Jan 22, the 3rd business day."
    If you wish, homebrewdude, I can post the exact details of the above-referenced
    transactions, including the amount of your funds hold, as provided to me by PayPal.
    I would suggest, instead, homebrewdude, you make an attempt to amicably
    resolve the remaining issues with this transaction via PM. Be aware, however,
    my daughter will be returning home from school any time now and I will not be
    available for any response until mid-morning, Monday, January 26.

    Paypal always puts a hold on a claim - nothing out of the ordinary
    I agreed to the refund, like I did in the message

    No deception, he is selective on the facts he posts.

    I offered full refund for him to return.
    He never returned it.

    I posted facts along with documentation. All you have done so far is squeal like a stuck pig.
    You say in post #11, "I agreed to the refund, like I did in the message". Please post that message here for everyone to see.
    You say in post #11, "I had sent photos of the camera, explained the contents, included memory cards and after market batteries i lieu of the missing OEM battery." Please post the photos along with the documentation of your explanation of the 'contents'. Please list the contents of your shipment to me. Please list the memory cards you sent to me. Please also post where in these 11 posts to this for sale thread you documented there would be substitions for the missing battery. Please show where the Fuji battery charger would also be missing from the shipment, something you failed to note in your post #11.

    A second request! TWO PayPal requests! Wow, pretty scary, don't you agree?

    And therein lies (Wonder if you get THAT pun.) the problem, dude. There is NO WAY I am going to return your equipment until you have provided an exact list of the items you shipped to me and I agree those are the items I received. Unfortunately, I can just imagine the whining and crying you will post here when you don't receive the "X-E1 camera with original items" which you posted as for sale in post #1 of this thread. I am just not about to step in that doody, dude.
    Please stop acting like a doofus, dude, and clarify exactly what you expect to have me return to you, and that I agree is what I received from you, and I will be happy to effect the return of the junk (other than the X-E1 camera) you sent to me.

    So you have your money back for over a week,yet you are holding on to this mans camera and tormenting him and you are worried about what he may say about you after you finally give him back his own property. You need to send his camera back.All your name calling speaks louder than anything anyone could say about you. And please Mr Knighthawk dont ever answer any ad i may post.

    I did take detailed photos and sent them.
    I did not post on the add, could not figure it out.
    I had two people interested at the same time. In hindsight I should have sold to the person on Fred Miranda.

    I did loose the OEM battery and charger which discoved after the add posting.
    In exchange I offered 2 batteries, wall charger fast SD card and USB 3.0 card reader.

    I explained this in the meassge. Obviously it was missed or not understood. Maybe he thought he was getting it all.

    Declined his offer for partial refund of $60
    I offered a full refund for return.

    Based in his attitude, if he does decide to send anything back it will be missing damaged.

    I went to the police station to file a report.
    They suggested since it was across state lines and involved the post office.

    They suggested I file a postal fraud claim. And when/if it is returned damaged/missing that I open the attachment ackage in their presence.

    I feel bad for you, hope it all works out. This is the best forum i have ever been in ,i have gotten help from people within minutes of asking for help.All my sales went good , i hate to see this type of stuff.

    I never had such rude buyers on this forum before, the buyer should return the item as soon as he received the refund.

    If you not satisfy with your purchase and you already got your full refund, the only problem is you're not returning the camera.

    You need to send the merchandise back to any stores before you get your refund, what's wrong with this guy?
