Fuji X-E1 goes to a local jazz performance

    ... and it performs great !!!

    Damn what a combo with the 35mm F1.4
    Auto WB is just great, focus is a bit hard up close when people move, but once you get the shot nailed well it's great!!!
    Most shots I was able to do at iso 800-1250, apature of 1.8-2

    All are OOC jpegs , no colour editing needed... Even the BW's came out great !

    On a side note, compared to the nex 6 with 50mm this combo gives even better shots, the nex focuses a bit faster
    But both are great cameras, XE-1 does have a tad better high iso and ooc jpeg's

    Thanks for posting these : the mixture of lights and shadows is making some horrible skin colour combinations, I'm sure you got the best out of it.
    Because of the skin tones those monochromes are going to appeal to me more.

    These are some OK shots, but I expect better from X-E1 + 35mm. Nevertheless, I *really* like the B&W in your FLickr album from same night. Very well done.
