Fuji X-E1 + 35mm great for small concert photography !

    I was in Edinburgh this weekend (more photos coming) and visited a local bar.
    The X-e1 with 35mm (the only lens i had with me on the trip) took some great shots imo

    Yep it's a great combination..between the high ISO performance and fast lens you can shoot in incredibly dark situations. As long as you don't mind some AF struggles, but looks like it worked for you!

    It's not the best lens for this kind of situations (need 50+ mm), but as I said, I only have this Fuji lens atm and I'm happy with the shots I got.
    But you are right, the AF can strugle if there are to many other subjects to focus on (read : spectator heads etc)

    MF is OK, but much better on Sony Nex system
