    Location

    Description
Up for sale is an OM-D E-M1 Body that belonged to my father. He had a pen and wanted to try out the E-M1 but it wasn't for him. His intentions were to ditch his canon gear, but he has way too many lenses to make the jump. Body only has 368 clicks! To sweeten the deal for someone new to the OM-D system, my father printed out the entire manual on 8.5x11 paper and had it spiral bound. That will be included. Includes box, battery, cables, charger, body cap and body. Looking for $1100 OBO including shipping, insurance and paypal fees.

Will also include the CS-35 cover that I forgot I had, but already sold my EM-5. This works great when I want to travel with the camera and not bring my camera bag.

That is definitely what Olympus America claims here -- however does anyone have experience actually getting a used item serviced or denied? Sometimes companies are strict, sometimes they're lenient.

When they used to have their service center on the West Coast near L.A., I went there in person, they asked me to see my receipt and ID to see if the name match...they might change now or more relax, I don't know...but people just need to know that buying used Oly gear won't get you warranty unlike everywhere else in the world.

I replied to this because someone asked you if the warranty was filled which meant obviously he doesn't know the Olympus policy and I am sur you want to be clear also that the camera won't be under warranty once someone else buy it from you. However, I saw some people worked around it by having the seller submit the camera to Olympus incase the camera need repair which mean the seller and buyer need to be in contact during the warranty period.
