    [FS/FT] »» Lumix L1 / Modified Konica Lenses + Leica Lens

Here is my pride and joy. I have a backup so I decided I don't really need two anymore..I'm pricing this based on average prices of Konica lenses, the Lumix L1 body, and the MANY hours it took me to perfect modifying these lenses to fit the 4/3s body -- and this body in particular. They fit and "click" like a glove. This is the third time I've made this modification.

Konica Lenses: 40mm, 50mm, 57mm. Just to be clear, these are Konica lenses that have been modified (plating, grinder, miniature drill press, etc) to mount on the Lumix 4/3s body. You could even use these on an m43 setup with a 4/3->m43 adapter. Look at the photos, no adapter on the L1.

To understand the process, see here (it's not even remotely as simple as the guide pretends it to be): http://www.belerionbooks.com/konica_conversion.pdf

    Here are some pics below:

I don't have the original box for this one, but it's in excellent shape. All lenses are clean -- no fungus -- and focus and aperture rings turn smoothly. I'm looking for lens or body trades. Cash-wise I'm looking for $650 obo. Thanks for looking!

The camera everyone wants new cameras to look like! (come to think of it, the new Fuji looks a lot like the L1.) Looks like great work on those lenses.

    Good luck with sale-

Including the Leica kit lens. Excellent condition. Will trade for Canon glass or any other solid lens I could use on my 5D. Thanks

Maybe I'm missing something, but at this point I have no idea what you're selling and for how much. I read your thread 5 times and I'm not usually this stupid, but really, maybe you need to look at this again and explain more clearly exactly what you're selling at this point. It seems like you sold a lens from your $950 "kit?" If so, why is it still $950? Or isn't it? I'm confused and I imagine at least one more person out there may be as well.

Haha. Ok good to know. Perhaps I need to revise it then. I threw the post up in a bit of a hustle originally...

Essentially, I'm looking to trade my L1 body and the three modified-to-fit Konica lenses for something - anything. The Leica (kit) lens is gone. I converted these 3 lenses to work natively on the L1 (4/3s) body with no adapter needed. Another member said this reminded him of the Fuji Pro setup (mine is obviously not as nice) for its lens options and ergonomics. Anyway, thanks for the note.
