OnOne software is giving away a total package of Perfect Effects 8. No strings. I don't know the reasons, I don't care. It expires today though, so anyone that wants it needs to get a move on. If you aren't close to a computer, but have your phone, you can go to the link, sign up, and get the email with the code for your copy. It provides for use on two computers.

Good luck everyone. I was extremely happy as I've been debating on buying this for a couple of weeks now!!! $100 to use towards a lens now!!

I went ahead and got a key, although my computer is woefully inadequate when it comes to up-to-date photo editing software!

It is hell of a editing tool. I can`t imagine my workflow without it.

IMHO Effects like the rest of Perfect Photo Suite is a killer set of plugs. I use it and the Nik Collection. Between both of them I can do anything I need. And both can sets of products can be plugins from Aperture or Lightroom.

Be sure to play with the Dynamic Contrast filter. By changing the small, medium, and large object contrast you can make huge improvements in an image.

Enjoy!

I just tried it and they are still giving it away from what I can tell.
Just had a quick play with it and cleaned up a portrait photo of my dog.

So far so good.

It's a a great suite. The B&W is great as is the perfect enhance and perfect effects. My Macbook pro runs it with not a hiccup. If you have decent hardware it will work very well. It also integrates seamlessly with LR...

This photo was completely unusable in color because of the red tint from all the red umbrellas. With perfect B&W I chose the Ilford 50 preset and the shot came out great.
