    Hi Folks,

Going to part with of my own Rokkors. This is an MD Rokkor - 50mm -F1.7. It's in perfect condition, very beautiful and well kept lens. It's clean and bright, no fungus, blemishes, scratches, right to the filter ring... perfection.

I have my actual original, purchased when I was a mere lad of 19 years, as well as a 50mm f1.4. and 55mm f1.7. Those are quite enough for me.

This is the lens only, no adapter. The adapters are readily available on eBay etc. I like rainbowimaging on eBay for my low cost adapters.

    These are the terms:

    1. Make a donation to MU-43, which Amin will confirm
    2. pay the shipping to wherever you are.

I'll ship it anywhere for a member, and you will be a member after making the donation!

There is a substantial gallery of images from this lens here on MU-43: MD Rokkor 50 mm fr1.7 - Mu-43 Gallery

What do you reckon Alan, would this be better than my 45mm or is the 45 enough.

I received a donation. Not sure if it was in connection with this lens. Until further notice, don't anyone donate in relation to this lens until we clarify whether the lens is spoken for!

    Hi Amin,

I would have assumed that anyone planing to donate and accept the lens, would have posted in the thread or PM'd me.

If The donating member doesn't Pm me in the next little bit, It's Icon's.

    Cheers, Alan

    Hi Amin,

Photorx12 is having a nice day. He also bought a new ยต43 camera, furthermore, he'd like me to pass the lens on to Icon who already has the adapter.

Good Karma day all around! I think Narnian just completed the same kind of "donation" sale to another donating member.

    Alan

I'm speechless. All i did was enquire about the lens and Photorx made the donation first and now wants to give it to me. I feel very honoured.

You're a legend Photorx! You really sure you don't want it.

What would be a reasonable donation to make for this lens Alan? I've no idea of it's worth.

    Best,

Just looking at my bank acc and it wouldn't be able to cope with that. My bank would charge me a dishonour fee.

Donation made but not a million dollars. Sorry Amin.

Amin, I think the donation was from me. I didn't PM because I already have a 50mm Rokkor like Alan was offering. I figured it should go to someone else.
