Frank Gehry - Panny 12-35

Discussion in 'Native Lenses' started by Boatman, Jun 7, 2013.

  1. Back in February I had a chance to photograph the Walt Disney Concert Hall, designed by noted architect Frank Gehry. There is another Gehry building right here in New England; The Stata Center at MIT. Last week I had a meeting in Cambridge and a little spare time in my agenda. I took my GH2 along with the new Panasonic 12-35 lens.

Here are a couple of shots. These are enhanced using settings close to what Serge Ramelli demonstrates on his web site. A bit over the top, but I have to admit I find the added drama attractive. The lens is wonderfully sharp. Considerably better than the Panasonic 14-140 I've been using.

I'm discovering that the 12-35mm is indeed worth having. These look great.

I'd love to check out the pp tips on SR site. I noticed he had paid apps and free podcasts on lots of subjects. which site did you use.
