I have been wondering about this for a while: how well do they work?

I know that with the GF-1, most of the Olympus and Sigma lens loses the AF functionality? So hmm, is there much point to this? They are not especially cheap either (compared to say Minolta MD/C lenses).

I have the Olympus 45-150 and 70-300 and both keep S-AF but lose C-AF. AF is decent with these lenses, but not great. I haven't used them on my GF1 preferring the Panny 20 1.7 and 14-140, but I'll give them a try later today and get back to you.
