Forest bridge in sunlight

    Photography can be somewhat of a spiritual experience, not only in outcome but in the process. It's been a hard couple of weeks for me. Research projects have been keeping me extremely busy, but I knew I should get out and take a walk, if only to clear my head and relax a bit. I headed to one of my favorite spots in the woods, and was in awe of the beauty and serenity I found, even if it was fleeting. I took my camera, just in case, and I'm glad I did:

    I thought so. Went there during my honeymoon 4 years ago. I remember that bridge since (especially that circular hole In it) as it caught my eye as well.
