At the coast today Humenga, Palliser Coast.

Duffy went for a paddle and caught by a wave.

My adult son was with us ... my dog watching intently as my son ambles off down the beach for a walk.

If only I could find a fog like that, I love dogs as much as I love photography and nothing I love more then those two ... But with wildlife they can be very hard to make peace, running after or barking at wildlife is not helpful ... Well nor is the fact that I love and so badly want a big dog of my own (the bigger the cuddlier the merrier).

I was lucky in that he didn't seem to have spotted the duck and ducklings, as he will chase, and I usually have to put him on the lead around bird life.

Not much around today, so just another couple of my dog sitting/lying and waiting. He must be maturing, is 7 now :)

Took her out this evening for a walk and she was happy as usual.

The image is a bit soft because I missed the her, I was pre focused on a slither of sunset light sipping through the foliage. This is one of the reason I would like a AF fast prime (as much as I love the rendition of the Yashica lens).

I love the leaves and the street lamp and wanted to get a picture of her there but it was hard to find the right focus in the low light and f 1.4.

I found the will to take the camera with me, the first time I picked it up in almost 2 weeks when I took Nuggie out for a walk yesterday. It was hard to focus on image ideas but the weather turned pretty horrible as well, we got caught in pretty heavy rain:

Out with her new fleece, she really needed one because it's getting close to 0 C here and she's so tiny she can't stay warm anymore. She seems to have gotten used to it by now.

The last patch of light before the storm came in.

Nuggie did find a new friend to play with but she didn't seem sure what to do with him at first.

They were barking and running around for a little bit.

Then we took our leave and by the time we cleared the trees the rain was so heavy she just wanted home ASAP.
