Nice to see your greyhound having the time of his life. From memory, if I'm not mistaken you rescued him. Not many of them get to experience what Willow has now.
Yes she is rescued. Not sure that she was that impressed yesterday but. First time in the ocean and a wave crashed over her nose ... hence the leap of fright :) Today she was more aware of it and happy to run and play in the water a bit. No swimming as yet but.

@PacNWMike I Probably already asked and just can't remember, but is that a goldendoodle?

Yep. About as friendly and good natured as they come.

Mike, that is one good lookin' critter. Mine (pictured below) is a Terrier mix adopted from the local shelter 7 years ago. Don't know how much longer we're going to have him, vet thinks he is about 14 years old now.

He loves people, trusts everyone. Pretty laid back. He now considers that recliner his and asks me to get out of it if he wants it. I guess we have him pretty spoiled.

I recommend the movie "Purpose Of A Dog".

So...a toodle ? View attachment 580806

What's his name? 14, wow. Looks like a dignified gentleman.

Sandy, named after his hair color and after an active duty friend who is no longer with us. We think there may be some Wheaten Terrier in the "mix", he has the behavior characteristics (hardly ever barks, eager to please - well, kind of -, some of the coloration but there may be some Lhasa Apso or some Poodle. Who knows? All he has to be is dog for me. Don't know how dignified, he slowed down a lot and does a lot of napping these days. Still loves to get harnessed up and head to the car with me.

Night before our cat passed a month ago, Sandy was gently licking him trying to "heal" him...

(Nasty cancer; rare, aggressive, but encapsulated in a tissue sheath)
He's been through it and so have we.
