Same. But I must confess I do not remember "The Door Into Summer", but I do remember "The Day of the Triffids". I read one a few more times than the other, but I remember a whole lot of other Heinlein stories that were just fantastic to read.

True confession here, I am a fan of E.E. Doc Smith too! And though I have read the entirety of the Edgar Rice Burroughs Martian Series, it really did get quite tedious.

I think the Chrysalids was my favourite Wyndham novel. I used to re-read it on a regular basis.

In a prior post I described how I made these rather striking cat portraits. I remain very fond of the inexpensive Olympus 40-150 mm f/4.0-5.6 R zoom lens on my aging Panasonic GX-7 camera. It is really good kit for animal head shots.

A stray has brought her kittens to our home. Unsure how old are they? But arguably the cutest little things I have ever seen. The grey one is especially photogenic but also the most twitchy. Any sound, movement and runs back to their hide out under the shoe shelf. For reference the gap in 2nd pic is hardly 3 inches tall.

Never had experience with kittens (or cats in general) and was surprised that they make sound just like birds chirping. Super cute!

In case the EXIF doesn't load: EM1.2 + Olympus 45mm f1.8, no flash. I am rusty, have a few other pictures but I focused on their tiny pink noses instead on eyes :/
