Oh dear; I've thought long and hard about uploading this.

I've been taking photos now for just coming up to 65 years and I've never, ever taken a photo of one of these creatures.

I must admit I generally hate the blessed things as they are always soiling the freshly-prepared seed beds in my garden and would much rather have a mutt living alongside me, despite the noise they make.

I'm slightly worried about my mental health but think I can possibly blame this lapse on Erich and Macroamphoto who both often mention this creature and I must have had subliminal messages penetrating my weak brain for this indiscretion.

Anyway, it's happened now and there's no turning the clock back.

But then......it's strange times we are living in with this Covid-19 causing mayhem all around the world, so perhaps I can put it down to a virus of some sort afflicting me.

After all, it did take place on one of my "Walks of the Pandemic".

Oh yes, I think I've got enough excuses now and shouldn't worry too much about the possibility of it ever happening to me again.

So, without further ado, let's get it over and done with.

I'm not sure if there's any EXIF data showing but it appears to date from 2007 and was taken when I took my dear old Mum (sadly no longer with us) to a beautiful garden nearby, when she visited us.
I can't recall my Mum sneaking my camera off me, so can't blame her for taking the photo, thus can only plead guilty due to stress while still employed.
I was going to promise it won't happen again, but............
