I bought this after I got my E-5, from a guy who bought the charger to get a second battery. If he used it at all, I can't prove it. I didn't, other than to charge the two batteries right now. One of the batteries I bought new, and may have never cycled through the camera; the other has seen light use. Both take and hold a charge.
