Yes, but both were in the same email to Teds Club members - one deal is 1/11th on selected items of which the EM1 Pro Kit is included - for anyone, club member or not. That amounts to $209 off their normal price. Then other is a special exclusive offer for club members only, so special that there is only one use per Club Ted member, and that is $200 off - so if I were to use my special club privileges I would pay $9 more than everyone else???
Also - the 1/11th off price is already marked on the items in store, so if you walk in you will see the price as $2090, not $2999. I then produced my voucher for "$200 instant savings" and the sales person didn't even know about the offer - that's why when her boss said yes I wasn't about to start shopping around. So what three other Teds stores have said is that their exclusive Teds $200 instant savings, member-only, single-use voucher is worthless.
It appears that these deals were not coordinated very well, if at all, but still it's disappointing when they can't see it from the customers' point of view - a voucher "instant savings" should be from the current advertised price, even if that price has already been reduced. I didn't even know that the $2090 was the reduced price, because from the email I followed links that took me here:
http://www.teds.com.au/olympus-omd-em1-12-40mm
where the price is simply listed as $2090, no mention of any other offer required to get to that price. It was only after going to the store that I was told "this has been reduced with the we-pay-the-gst to $2090 that I realised the price was initially higher.
So I think there would be grounds to argue that $2090, the only price listed online, is the price, and $200 instant savings should be taken from that price.
