    I tried one some years ago and it was an absolute waste of money.

    This looks like the Dandelion chip. I owned one that kind of worked on 4/3 so I'd buy one if it worked on M43, but I am sure it doesn't.

    Not very obvious from the website description just how it was supposed to do anything, I wonder if its just to fool the camera into thinking a dedicated lens is attached and focused so it will take a picture if you camera does not have a shoot without lens option, couldn't for the life of me figure out how it would be able to confirm focus.

    With magnification and focus peaking being so easily available, I'm not sure it would make a lot of sense on m43. On a DSLR it was nice because you could make it confirm focus on one of the AF points.
