focal reducer with hexanon 50mm

    How exactly are you proposing to set this up? My guess is that the space between the lens and the sensor is smaller than the length of the focal reducer. Also, you are looking at having an issue of getting the mounts to line up. I would keep an eye out for the Metabones Speed Booster, and see what you can do with that once it comes out. The only issue is that the Konica mount is one of the shortest, so they may not make one compatible with those lenses.

    Edit: Also, assuming it would work out, it would not make a 50 into an 85. It would make it into a 42.5mm lens. Focal length doesn't change, regardless of camera, only field of view. It would approximate the field of view of an 85mm lens on a 35mm sensor.

    ok, you mean the overall lenth of sw reducer have to be less than 55mm? (55 is the flange of T2 mount)

    Haven't seen any focal reducers for Konica lenses unfortunately. I have a bag of Konica's and I would dearly love such a device.
